"A Place for an average person"
its what i saw when i looked out me window onto bolton...

i look through my curtains
onto a town where nothing is certain
a place for an average person
who drives a mundane four door
who forget what they went for
and carry on with nothing
until they find their something
and realise there's someone
somewhere taking fumes in
their lungs are getting wore in
and day by day theyre dying
but somehow they keep smiling
and living life's no meaning
they dont ask the questions
they know what wont get answered
religions fading and fiction
in five point one and in widescreen
no more verses and engines
just a simple pipe dream
that makes a fortune for no-one
it just decays the future for everyone
